Ben Murphy, Communications
"I am honored to serve you this year as Communications Committee co-chair. As my son begins first grade this fall, I think about all the excitement and anxiety we felt last year when he started school for the first time. There was a lot of uncertainty at the beginning, but getting to meet and share stories with other parents was always energizing, relieving, and hilarious. I hope to help connect you with the impressive programs this PTA organizes and elevate your voice in this community."

Julia Findley, Membership Committee
"My name is Julia and this will be my 5th and final year at CES. We made the big move from Raleigh back in 2018 and CES made us feel right at home from day one. My son, Eli, will be a 5th grader this year and his older sister Maggie is a CES alumni heading into her final year at ECMMS. I've been lucky enough to work with many of the PTA and CES favorite programs including the Bookstop and Bookfair. I took over Membership last year so you'll hear a lot from me in the first couple of months. Please say Hey! If you see me around, I'm a frequent downtowner. Looking forward to another great year!"

Alison Rosciano, Grounds Committee & Paw Patch
"My name is Alison. I am a mortgage loan officer with Equity Resources. I have had children at CES since 2015 and this year will be our last. My son, Victor Kudlak, is in 5th grade. I have loved being a part of the CES family and I have enjoyed serving at the school. It has been so fun to be involved at the school with my kids during these elementary years, the time has flown by! I am excited this year to serve as co-chair of the grounds committee and the Paw Patch. One of my favorite things is when the kids can harvest from the garden and “sell” their goods for book bucks!"

Sally Nicol, Sponsorship Co-Chair & Teacher Appreciation Co-Chair
Hi! I'm Sally Nicol and this is our family's 5th year at Cary Elementary. This is an exciting year for us as all 3 of our kids are at the same school for exactly one year together. We love this wonderful school and the amazing CES community! This is my second year serving as the PTA Sponsorship Co-Chair with Megan Van Hook, and my first year serving with Kara Hand on the Teacher Appreciation Committee. I love being involved in any capacity with CES, but I especially love giving back to our teachers and administrators. Megan Van Hook and I had the pleasure of redecorating the teachers' lounge last spring and it was a great way to boost morale and create a relaxing space for our hardworking staff. I would urge all CES families to join the PTA to make our community even stronger!
