We are so grateful to our Cary Elementary Teachers! Here are some of the ways we try to say thanks.

All Staff Meals

Each month, the hospitality committee hosts the Cary Elementary teachers for breakfast or lunch. This is a highly appreciated event since the teachers do not have enough time in the daily schedule to leave the school premises.

2022 Teachers' Lounge Renovation

The updated decor, calming colors and updated appliances make for a relaxing space for staff to take a break, socialize and unwind from our enjoyable, yet busy days! Thank you, PTA, for your time, effort and resources to make a pleasant space for us all!"

    The PTA knows the ongoing stress and pressure that we families, our children, and the education system put our teachers under every day. It is vital then, that our skilled and loved educators have a positive and supportive space to relax, vent if necessary, and recharge so they can carry out the immense responsibility we have entrusted them with.
    In the spring of 2022, the PTA and Triangle Esports Academy each provided $2,500 to renovate, refresh, and reappoint the Teachers' Lounge. This included painting the walls, adding new decor and design elements, replacing large and small appliances, reformatting to a bistro-style eating space, and adding an outdoor sitting area.
    We would like to thank Triangle Esports Academy for their sponsorship, and Mario and Adonai Painting for repainting the lounge one weekend. And thanks to Sally Nichol and Megan Van Hook for organizing this project. It looks incredible!
